LCSC Qualifier

In the LCSC Qualifier, EVERYONE can participate. However, only those eligible to participate at the ECSC can be accepted for the LCSC Finals.

The LCSC Qualifier will take place during week 22-28 April 2024 in a hybrid format.

The best players of the LCSC qualifier will advance to the next level: LCSC Finals.

*Qualification requirements for the LCSC finals and ECSC:

  • Born after 31 December 1998
  • LU citizenship or permanent LU residency

What do I get?

If you are amongst the best you will get the possibility to participate on the LCSC Finals, in addition to that the best 10 players (that meet the qualification requirements, will get prices, HackTheBox licenses and goodies.

The top 3 players will get:

  1. Flipper Zero
  2. Raspberry Pi 5
  3. Spacehuhn USB Nova mkII

Participation Guide

Engage with our event both online and in-person. Detailed access information for the online segment will be furnished closer to the event date.

The in-person aspect of our event is proudly hosted at the Yep! Schoulfoire within Hall 7. This venue offers a fantastic opportunity for participants of the LCSC to mingle, field inquiries, and enhance their understanding of the competition.

The Open ECSC platform, here , features several rounds of competition. While all rounds promise fun and challenges, only Round 2 is critical for qualification purposes. Feel free to enjoy the other rounds as they offer excellent practice and entertainment.

LCSC Finals

The best players of the LCSC qualifier eligible to participate in the ECSC will be preselected to participate in the LCSC Finals to take place before summer at Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity (LHC)

The LCSC Finals are organized by the National Cybersecurity Competence Center (NC3) in close cooperation with the Directorate of Defence of the Luxembourg Government

The finalists will have the opportunity to experience the national Cyber Range.

10-15 challenges in the following categories shall be solved:

  • Web
  • Mobile
  • Crypto
  • OSINT
  • Reverse
  • Forensics
  • Pwn

The 10 that made the cut will join the Luxembourg National Team to represent the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg at the European Cybersecurity Challenge in Torino, Italy.
